I loved those 2010s Orioles teams but we all knew that front office was basically a bunch of idiots who were getting lucky. Elias was supposed to change that. This was supposed to be a professional, smart front office that was supposed to deliver at a high floor of success.
It rocks that every Red Sox fan I'm seeing is yelling about how this cost too much and every Orioles fan I'm seeing is trying to figure out if they can hide the body of a GM

I really didn't think he would trade Adley. It's bad for the franchise in a larger sense sort of irrespective of if the return is "good" or not.
