Labor: Let’s tell Australians that we’re cracking down on intl students, but tell intl students that Australia is wonderful and welcoming. And the whole university funding model will be based on their fees. Yes that’ll work.
The two warring sex cults that rule America are fighting
The richest men are threatened to getting stripped of the sex slaves they were promised, so they instead decided to destroy the world.
The Gates Foundation has pledged to spend at least $1 billion over the next two years to expand global access to A.I. and help “narrow gaps between the richest and poorest rather than widening them.”
The person with the music written on their arse from Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights has pulled out of Ed Sheeran's tour
At a thing and some stooge is spruiking their quantum company and you know it’s joining the doomed list with every other quantum company that’s some academic’s get-rich scheme.
I can't bring myself to talk to my computer etc. In my head I just hear all the ways talking is wildly imprecise and crappy (it's always made my laugh in sci-fi when robots/androids etc communicate with each other with voice). Same with typing "natural language" requests. It's hit and hope.
Sure, but if you were going to pick a funny word to spice up your dull-as-dishwater anthem, "girt" is Top 5.

Red-capped Robin, seen at Simpson's Gap, NT, Australia 🪶
Major Mitchell's Cockatoo was a bird I'd always wanted to see but I knew I'd need to get lucky on my Alice Springs trip. And I did! Saw a pair by the side of the road dining on feral Afghan melons. Lifer 😀 Major Mitchell's Cockatoo 🪶

SILICON VALLEY - The CEOs of OpenAI, Anthropic, and GrokAI have released a statement agreeing that claiming artificial intelligence "could potentially kill all humans" sounds much more awesome than just admitting that they blew a fortune on glorified chatbots.

Are the NSW Socialists (implicitly) telling migrants, new citizens and the more-fortunate to get the fuck out of the Inner West?
Yet to see a “use AI” presentation for what I do that doesn’t include a bunch of magical steps. I get why marketing exists, but I think marketing people ought to get why physics exists. It’s pretty tawdry.
It is good, proper, and effective to make people ashamed of their political views. There seems to be some sense that it’s impolite to actually confront One Nation voters with the racism of ONP. But I ask: why. Racism is a shameful thing and has been for a long time.
These new Toyota ads are next level.
The Houthi-aligned Bani Hashish tribes are massing in preparation to “liberate” the remaining Yemeni territory outside Houthi control. It’s a sea of Toyotas with mounted machine guns. I think this is what we should mean when we say Toyotathon from now on.
That's not the definition I found in my dictionary, but it fits ;)
Terribly sad to learn of Mary Gaudron’s death. She was the first female Justice of the High Court of Australia. A pioneer for women in law and a staunch Labor supporter for which she received much criticism, but she held firm to her beliefs regardless. Vale, the Honourable Mary Gaudron.
Seen a bajillion concerts, every type of music under the sun, but this was something else. Intensely moving, surprising, astonishing emotional depth and sophistication. Perfection. www.aco.com.au/whats-on/202...
