There's a realm of respectable opinions that are pro-AI that I can sort of acknowledge even if I have a disagreement with but it seems exceptionally obvious that a lot of AI's biggest boosters are people in businesses that were already super behind the times so it just comes off as catching up lol

The point of the video is not that technological progress doesn't happen, but that humanoid robots are the least useful, most expensive, and hardest to repair form of robotics relative to the actual commercial purpose built ones.

I got an AI ad on television and it's a fake vertical video tiktok format about privatized medicare grocery assistance and it has to cut every few seconds mid sentence presumably because the AI gen only works in few second snippets lol.
To get ultra woke on that TPUSA kid: I've never seen anyone complain that an italian plate is $20 when they go out to eat.

FWIW, both of VDARE’s founders were on the masthead of the National Review in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Peter Brimelow was also a staffer for Senator Orrin Hatch. This white nationalist thread has been present in the conservative movement for a long time. Screenshot is from 1997.
