Part of your job once you are a socialist is, in fact, to argue for socialism, to anyone who will listen. That is actually a thing political parties are supposed to do, argue for policy, and enact it

Dems see this as letting maha fascists “in the tent” because they themselves never make any demands of the fascists they actively pursue and believe “meeting people where they are” means never attempting to push them to a higher political consciousness

There is pervasive corruption across our healthcare and agricultural systems that defy party lines. I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.

I’m pretty convinced (by me, myself) that immortality in the anne rice universe cuts off your ability to make good art bc you lose a fundamental urgency that pushes the ball down the net

A lot of the "rural voters" that we worry about are, in fact, recent transplants & white-flighters. They're urbanites who are bringing their day job $$ with them. They have VERY different concerns than people who actually grew up rural & have to deal w rural opportunities.

I am from the “stack a bunch of shit precariously” school of Sculpture and I’m worried to apply to yale bc they are really in more of a “put a bunch of shit all over the floor” era atm
