So its been brought to my attention that I've made several people hella uncomfortable. Enough that I've been kicked out of Find Out Productions for it. I've been charged with being untoward with former players irl/ingame/etc. I pushed boundaries. Adding sexual content in games.

I don't do romance stuff in my gaming. Feels too close to home as well, I've always felt mostly undesirable. Like to the point that I don't develop crushes because that implies there is a glimmer of hope in me that it could ever work out. That doesn't mean that I myself am NOT a romantic.

Also I guarantee other people are making cooler stuff on this front than me. Check out other designers! Ask yourself questions about what kinds of stories you'd be interested in if you weren't afraid!

One more thing. Original video this is in response to was talking about things the girl hates hearing her DM say (and it's not an original thought, I've seen the same phrases used a billion times) and like "are you sure?" "you can certainly try!" Fuck you. At my table it's: "SOUNDS RAD. DO IT!"

IMHO I don't have an issue with terms being an in group thing. I just think that what they are conveying/the prejudice in built is actually bad, and yes, if fucks with effective communication. My friend's game of crunchy tactical combat is telling a story as much as my "rules light" journaling game
