I legitimately feel bad for the little kids getting thrown into the very public wood chipper of discourse around the Harry Potter show. The adults who signed on can go fuck themselves, but these 10 year olds being forever linked to one of the world’s most famous bigots is really sad.
moulton is a good example of someone who fucked up his career because he misread 2024. many such cases.

ICE accosted a man on his way to a medical appointment, handcuffed him, and forced him back to his house. Agents conducted a warrantless invasion of his home, where his 3 minor US citizen kids lived

Man remember when people in various media outlets were insisting that “dimes square” was real and an influential art scene and insisting there was a hip happening and growing movement of right wing contrarian artists and thinkers poof all gone all fake and the people pushing it silently moved on
I think an underappreciated aspect of why so many people hate AI is that the people who boost it are, almost without exception, such insufferably garbage human beings.
