Have been playing FoM and my farmer is based loosely on my snow-mew Hrothgal who is a gleener just trying to get through her Archon thesis out in the field... In FoM, my sense of time is *terrrrrrible*, tho. So she keeps passing out instead of going to bed like a normal human being... 🧵

This angst brought to you buy all of the fucking *gorgeous* ref packs that TruRef drops, and in particular the one I just rebageled, because flowing fabric aesthetic is one of my (many) jams and wanting to make something "worthy" of them. Hahahaha thanks for getting in my own way repeatedly brain.

Dolly was not neutral. She was apolitical in that she didn’t talk about politics. But when it came to poverty, literacy, LGBTQ+ rights, etc. she was outspoken. She was only apolitical because she didn’t consider those things political issues - she considered them human issues.

Constantly putting down your own work or it's perceived lack of success when compared to friends & peers in your circle can genuinely create a self-fulfilling prophecy, and even negatively impact how others see their own work. "Oh of course my shitty work wouldn't get see because its not [blank]"

The last ten years have taken *so many* icons from my childhood--some of them better people than others, all of them human, all of them touching lives for good or ill--a reminder that time continues to pass, that it goes forward, and drags me along with it, however much I want to think it doesn't.
