An incoherent mix of motorbikes, motoracing (& other sports), modelling & wargames, retro gaming, anything else that takes my interest !

Gave some an Epic Armageddon intro game last week. Great Crusade setting - Iron Warriors vs Orks. Those three 1's were my first dice rolls of the game, battlewaggons driving into a forest and destroyed on a 1.. 😬

Really enjoyed The Odyssey! Don't get as many films that 'epic' these days, but still managed to be character-driven. And parts the story that would have been very easy to make look silly (the pigs) I thought were done well. One criticism; no stop-gap animation cyclops!

A beplumed Matt Damon (Odysseus) leads his men up a beach, probably about to encounter something horrible.

Really heartened to hear Mike Flanagan involved with the 40k TV series - absolutely loved The Haunting of Hill House. With horror being his thing and Abnett apparently signing NDAs that really supports what was the strongly rumoured title of the series! Really hope it is the one, the only..

Have fallen into the trap (for about the 9th time) of being pulled back into 30k/40k, really getting into the imagery, background & spending probably hundreds of hours building & painting, then you play the game and its like "...oh, is that it" 😆

Really enjoyed Pragmata. Capcom can definitely make a polished game. Liked the dynamic between the two characters (managed to not make the kid an annoying brat 😆) and thought the hacking/shoot-em-up dynamic worked well. Bosses were great/brutal. Also, not too long! 👍👍

It's a new #RandomGameSaturday and this week it's Super Hang-On for the Sega Genesis! This arcade conversion made some obvious audio/visual compromises to run on weaker hardware but it was still fun to play. Fun fact: I once took part in a Discord hi-score contest for this game and actually won!

Physical copy of "Super Hang-On" for the Sega Genesis in its original case.

I played a copy of Heavenly Sword on PS3 from 2007 just last year (so eighteen years old) without the slightest issue. Are we just forgetting that PS3 games are also on Blu-Ray, and that we already have hundreds of thousands of discs out there that should be failing just now if this were true?

Add GameRant onto the list of gaming websites no longer considered reliable in information because they can be easily bought to spread misinformation.

I see the usual summer holiday ritual of all the kids being released from school at once, everyone jumping in their cars and having absolutely massive multiple crashes on the motorway southbound, is being observed.
