There are so many things I love about my town, and our bike traffic signage is definitely one of them. Portland, OR.
inspired to dig through my own collection of wave racks in the wild. This remains my all-time favorite, thanks to the mosaic & general challenges captured

blackcurrants at Reston Farmers Market today - together with gooseberries & red currants, they were once common in the U.S. but largely disappeared after 1900s ban on growing them tied to white pine blister rust. Taste for them & culinary knowledge was lost so you rarely encounter them

Every bike advocate now working round the clock to entirely change their community, state, country & in Tom’s case, many countries: “I was just trying to get bike racks at our local school”
Looking forward to the Safe Routes To School National Conference - taking my kids to school on their bikes is what got me into this space. Fall is going to be a busy time for speaking engagements with dates in Minneapolis, AUS, NZ and now potentially the UK in September creativebyrovelo.com/events

Happy Bicycle Day! One of my earliest bicycle memories is sitting on a cushion tied on the back rack of my granny’s bicycle when she cycled from her farm down to the village shop. I thought that bicycle was lost but this photo showed up a few years ago (that’s not my granny but a Dublin cousin).
My local bus service + my local bike advocacy organization so you know I'm excited about this. Just a teeny tiny bit disappointed that I saw it on Bluesky first 'cos spotting it unexpectedly in the wild would have been even better. Looks like I’ll be stalking local buses for the near future
An advocacy group in Virginia is running this ad on buses. 🔥🔥
