In the 25 years since 9/11, the United States has spent $8 trillion+ on wars that have taken millions of lives in the name of fighting "terror." Can you imagine if we had instead invested those funds here on climate, health care, housing, and education?

Crime is down in Seattle. Violent crime is down in Seattle. Homicide is down in Seattle. That's compared to how things were under Bruce Harrell, who (by the logic of the business community, lazily laundered by outlets like this) oversaw higher crime. mynorthwest.com/kiro-opinion...
