After 18 hours of stage 2 labor and a trip to the e-vet for oxytocin and monitoring, Loaf had 8 beautiful puppies yesterday. She is doing an excellent job as a first time mom and all babies have gained weight on their day-old weigh in.

Please send all your love TJ's way. 💔 Jake was very special. He was like Compass but with more personality. And TJ was so close with him. He fit her like a missing puzzle piece. And I am so sad he had to go so young. No one should have to endure a young, healthy dog passing. Send all your support.

I wanted to update here that Jake passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday. I am devastated and beyond any words. Trying to shrink down his life to a limited character count is just insurmountable right now. I have a long winded post on my personal page (TJ Squires) for those who want.

Jake was my heart and soul. He filled a hole that my first heart dog, Zelda, left gaping open. She passed suddenly, at about 2.5 years old. Now Jake left this earth, nearly the same. I want to say it wasn’t his time. Life is so incredibly unfair. I needed this dog so much. But the morning before he passed, two female cardinals came to our bird feeders. We don’t generally get cardinals. I whole believe it was Naya and Zelda taking a visit, making sure things are taken care of before he left this earth. I truly hope I get to see him again some day.

Introducing my newest team and family member, Pommac! I've adored this dog for years, so I am over the moon that my friend Liza Dietzen Weaver of Choixlibre Kennel entrusted me with him. He's been here a couple weeks and has settled in nicely. He is just what I like, a big dopey happy boy.

I can’t remember if I shared this before…but I would just like to reflect on how Virág is the most time disciplined individual I’ve ever seen! Haha I noticed her Noorvik rest was EXACTLY 4 hours and wondered if it was a fluke…then Selawik was 4 hours…Kobuk was 3hours, Ambler 2 was 4 hours HOW? 😂🙈
