A roundtable about how Star Trek has evolved w/ Brannon Braga, Ron Moore, Terry Matalas, Michelle Paradise, Mike McMahan, Andre Bormanis and Kevin & Dan Hageman.
In addition to joining TrekMovie's Status Update 2026 panel, I'm moderating 2 panels on the main stage—one on the first day & one on the last! Come on by. If I can make it, I will run from my Sunday SNW panel to the Treksperts room to join the in-progress podcasters panel. Hope you see you there!

I cannot fathom using AI to write. I would spend more time editing it and trying to fix it than it takes to do it myself. It’s also absolute garbage at understanding nuance, voice, audience, etc. It legitimately decreases your authority as you don’t learn anything from the process.

One of the most important issues of our time is that the future of humanity is presently being authored by people who have nothing but total contempt for humanity and seek the erasure of everything that gives being a human meaning. It’s not just annoying. It doesn’t just suck. It’s existential.

This whole thread... I had a similar experience with Business Insider. I sold two pieces to a specific editor, then pitched a third. Pitch was accepted. Revisions were requested and completed. Never published, never paid, never answered any of my emails after that. It still bothers me.

I filed another Tribeca piece, which ran the following Monday 6/8 — two days after HUMPTY DUMPTY X premiered. “On to the American History X piece next!” she wrote. That was the last time I heard from anyone at Vulture.

#SDCC comic con: our daughter left her 3D printed black dragon in the restroom near E/Starbucks. She printed it herself and is devastated. We checked the restroom and lost and found which means someone picked it up. If you bring it to 5552 I will give you a signed comic as reward
