cell biologist, immunologist interested in host-pathogens interactions: too many keywords? Phagocytosis is key. Macrophages. Viruses. CNRS Scientist @InstitutCochin.bsky.social (Inserm, CNRS, Université Paris Cité). Opinions my own

Great start to session1 at the 28th Club Exo-Endo meeting!Three exciting talks, from lipid control of dopamine D2 receptor(D.Perrais, Bordeaux), to Vamp7-dependent cholesterol trafficking (P.Nazac,Paris) and how biomechanics shape membrane trafficking in neurons (D. des Roberts, Bordeaux)

Session 3 of the Club Exo endo meeting explored how intracellular architecture shapes cell function, with Quentin Frenger, Jacky Goetz, Leo Krüttli and Aline Mathey highlighting autophagy, lysosome positioning, cilia remodeling and cancer cell migration.

What a start for the second day of the Club Exo Endo meeting with keynote speaker C.Leterrier who uses state-of-the art superresolution microscopy to resolve axonal cytoskelon organization. Hot spots of endocytosis and exocytosis in clearings free of actin and spectrin. Fascinating talk!

Session2 at the 28th Club Exo Endo meeting offers great talks spanning phagocytosis (F.Niedergang, Paris), phagolysosome resolution (Q.Provôt, Paris), retromer coat assembly (N.Gopaldass, Lausanne), and fast endophilin-mediated endocytosis in cell invasion (E. Sekretova, Grenoble).

I am delighted to introduce our new Centre of Excellence in Immune-Endothelial Interfaces (IMMENs) funded by the Research Council of Finland. www.helsinki.fi/en/researchg... I will be recruiting two postdocs early next year. One image analyst and one biologist interested in working on lymphatics!

Centre of Excellence in Immune - Endothelial Interfaces (IMMENs) | University of Helsinki

The overarching aim of IMMENs, a Research Council of Finland funded Centre of Excellence, is to understand how local immune responses are regulated at the lymphatic endothelium-immune cell interface.
