Absolutely horrifying. How can our government be planning to drill for new oil and gas when we know these are the consequences? We have to keep the pressure on this Labour Government to keep all fossil fuels in the ground and secure a safe future for our children and grandchildren.
In better news I went for food and film with a friend last night. Saw Resident Evil and was really impressed, actually enjoyed it a lot which I did not expect. The film knew what it was supposed to be, and do. When you could see something coming it felt intentional yet it still surprised.

When rescue is visibly, viscerally, obviously impossible; when the water is a smothering, thundering black wall and the wind is screaming straight from Hell; when you are absolutely going to die: someone’s hand pulls you out and you don’t.
Every now and then I see myself referred to as an "AI Denier" and I want to be clear I acknowledge "AI" exists, it's just I think it's a massive energy drain, created from theft, implemented poorly for inappropriate tasks by loathsome tech executives who get hard at the idea of the rest of us dying
