Even folks, And here is my other kitty painting, dedicated to my kitten, Xena. She came to us as an unwanted kitten and I now feel like she has always been with us. While Torico is my shadow, Xena is my ball of chaos. 光反響 Sumi and liquid acrylics

I’m still under a somewhat art block that I’m trying to kick and what better way to do that than to visit 10 year old paintings. At the time, I hadn’t painted much cats, but now that I have two kitties, I wanted to dedicate them to this idea So here is Torico: 闇反響 Sumi and liquid acrylics

A sumi and liquid acrylic painting of a cat with his prize catch, a white mouse, in his mouth. Bush flowers seep their essence on the cat, letting him blend and mold himself to his surroundings of leaves and grassA graphite and oil painting of a white cat turning to a black cat from the black bush flowers above him.

It’s summer time and the past few days have felt really nice. I know summer is a time where people either hate it or love it. I’m the lather, I love what summer brings. Here is a painting that I dedicated to summer for a four seasons show at Haven in 2020 Happy summer folks, stay cool

A sumi ink and watercolor painting of a lady under an orange tree. Three swallows fly around her holding a red string.

The Orchid's Dream, 2026 Finished this painting that I’ve been working on since 2020 (concept sketch was pre-2020). During that time it mostly sat on my easel neglected while I worked on higher priorities. Prints are in the works, join my newsletter if that’s something you’re interested in.

Watercolor painting by Sam Guay depicting a dreaming flower.

I did a super secret painting last month to celebrate a close friend getting married. It’s full of super secret symbolism about our friendship. I’m so happy for her and I really wanted to make something meaningful to give to her and her partner.

A painting of a crow and a white eye bird in a fully blossomed cherry blossom tree. Each of the birds holding the same red string that is entangled in the tree. A knot is formed at the end. BildBild

SO glad the message of the original was completely ignored and there's even less rainforest to save now. Thank God the IP is still relevant and marketable. This was the first film I remember seeing in theaters and I'm 41 YEARS OLD. deadline.com/2026/04/fern...

Another piece from a few years ago whose generally lukewarm reception was rather unequal to my own fondness for it. 🥲Perhaps because of the subject? Garden snail (_Cornu aspersum_), approximately 105 x 60 mm. Watercolour on vintage J Whatman paper from 1940. #Invertefest

Watercolour painting of a garden snail with an especially attractively streaked shell.
