I subscribed to the RSS feed of fontsinuse.com and it’s been a daily delight. I knew that a typeface can really change a project, but it’s been reinforced seeing what specifically people have used, especially with sans serifs that are almost Helvetica but not quite.

Website I missed for a bit and realized is still kicking: fontsinuse.com they have RSS feeds! You can get a nice dose of typography in your feedreader! Also great for giving you ideas and answering the type questions you didn't know you had

RIP Bill Atkinson (1951–2025). During his time at Apple, he was central to the development of the graphical user interface of the Lisa and later the Macintosh, and is best known for creating MacPaint, QuickDraw, and HyperCard. Atkinson also designed Venice, a chancery script bitmap font.

Congrats to Romie! The display serif by Margot Lévêque now has one hundred Uses in the #FontsInUse Collection. This makes it the first #typeface exclusively* designed by a woman to join Club 💯! First released in 2019, Romie was updated a year ago to span six weights in roman and italic.
