I love when multi-species flocks of birds descend upon the garden to bathe, forage, spar, and frolic. Today was a record-breaker for number of bird species in the garden simultaneously: chickadees, juncos, sparrows, wrens, goldfinches, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, nuthatches, and grosbeaks!
