Badgers, whisky, gardens, cheese, cats. Important stuff like that. "A cavalcade of beggars, sin and wine"

Here’s the latest stop motion animation from my Tiny Angry Witch team. (I’m the writer, I can’t take credit for the animating!) It’s one of our longest, and it nearly drove us all mad, but we’re really proud of getting it made! 1 x Tiny Angry Witch 1 x broom No AI

Just blocked someone for replying to someone loving their first watch of The West Wing tv series:- "It's wank.... Don't bother continuing". Opinions are fine (& my opinion on his opinion is unprintable), but please don't butt in to tell people that the stuff they are really enjoying is "wank".

For me Ravel's Bolero still conjures up *ahem* images of Bo Derek in "10". 1979 - I was 14 but my mate Geoff & I managed to scurry into the X rated film at the Embassy cinema, Harpenden, by using the time honoured tactic of throwing down exactly the right money, grinning, & moving swiftly on.

Bo Derek smiling sweetly at Dudley Moore in the X (i.e. over-18 year olds only) rated comic romp - "10". When my parents found out I'd seen it my Dad had to go and watch it too to vheck what utter filth my young mind had been exposed to.

Bolero is an extraordinary piece of music: a soloist’s piece, for orchestra; a rhythmic exercise; a vibe. But right now I just keep thinking about the percussionist on the snare, and how Ravel must just have hated drummers.

This has really pissed me off, if you're in the area and can afford it go and give the cafe owner some money to help fund the kids meals. And if he refuses buy yourself a nice coffee and tip him as much as you can. Fuck Reform taking food from kids in need. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Oooh, after over 40 days without any noticeable rain here, the Hourly forecast suggests "Showers" for the next three (with a high of 65% probability). Oh. The Minutecast says "No precipitation for at least 120 min". *fetches watering can*

The Accuweather Minutecast graph at 9.54am showing "No precipitation for at least 120 min"

Whilst I am very much of the view that a) there are very few bad cheeses & b) the best cheese at any given time is either the one right in front of you OR dependent on the time/place, I'm sticking up for Sparkenhoe Red Leicester* 🧀😋 *(will also perform lewd acts for a half-decent Pecorino)

Sparkenhoe Vintage Red Leicester - a veritable god amongst cheese (hope the account who told me off for not giving a "religion trigger warning" re my "cathedral of trees" post doesn't read this.More cheese on the counter at the Sparkenhoe dairy shop - inc Sparkenhoe Blue.
