I love the love for this episode! And in hindsight I really like how all three companions are used well in this story.
Half way through this. What a delightful episode. I’m with all three of you on this, yes it has some issues but The Visitation is pure comfort Who! I too remember those fab double video packs from the 90s and they totally hit the nostalgia spot head on! A joy to listen to!

Half Marathon Training: Run 85 - Foolish to run in this heat? Maybe. But it did mean that I finally managed 15K. And to be honest…it was hard but it wasn’t unbearably hard. So I’m overjoyed that I managed it. 6K more and I hit the half marathon distance. 😁

As you can probably guess, @jeffgoddard.bsky.social and I are a little ahead in our recordings for the podcast. The fact that I’ve made more notes for parts one and two of Remembrance of the Daleks than I did for all of Four to Doomsday and Time-Flight combined says it all… 😂

Just finished my latest book whilst battling a post-run headache. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a Jeremy Robinson book and this reminded me how much I love his writing. Vivid and likeable characters, snappy dialogue, intriguing plots and brilliant twists. A great read. 😁
Half Marathon Training: Run 84 - I dropped Jacob back with his mum and ran home. 6K. In the heat. There was barely any air but I made it. It was a tough one for sure. I’ll probably aim for a long one mid-week now.
Well, that's the Humber Coastal Half Marathon 2026 booked and paid for... There's no going back now and I have until September 20th to push on some more!
I haven't got an issue with my neighbour. On the whole he's pretty quiet, but I'd really appreciate it if he didn't leave his bathroom light - triggering the extractor fan - on all the time. Even when he's out! The rumbling vibrations coming through the wall are incredibly irritating to my senses...

Half Marathon Training: Run 83 - My run yesterday evening with Matt. Always good to have a catch up and a natter. I also forgot to take the customary selfie so here’s a pic of me in my kitchen. 🤣 I’m running Sunday and then a long one next week!
I may have made some mistakes in my life, but when my little boy sees me in the shopping centre and runs at me, throwing his arms around me shouting "HUG ATTACK!!", I know what I have done right. 😊
Half Marathon Training: Run 82 - A 6K run today in the sun. Out to South Sea Lane and on the track between the fields. It was warm but not unbearable. Also I’m using my Fitbit results as the sync messed up again and added extra metres and time onto Strava. So strange.
Following on from the below, I’m pleased to announce that at least one (maybe two or three) of my photos (below) have been chosen to be displayed in a photography exhibition in my hometown. 😁 I received an email on Friday. I’ll be in invited to a launch event too! I’m quite proud. 🙂
