Its funny how cultural events that resonated around the globe diminish and are forgotten by the next generations. I've been watching people react to the bleakly excellent Chernobyl and so many of them hadn't even heard of it, or seem to know what a Nuclear Reactor is. Its so baffling to me.
We were poor growing up so we had to buy abridged manga. I only got to read The Gist of The North Star
I want an Evil Lyn figure, dammit. I wants it, and I wants it now! Im still gutted I dont have a Zoya the Destroyer figure though. Haha.
Finished the Austrailian Ghosts last night. Really lovely series and I hope they get more! The final episode in particular was really rather beautiful.
Im both chuffed and peeved. My Wife found the Elephant Man on TV the other night, and i had to go to bed. She had never seen it and she loved it.... now, why am I peeved you (probably don't) ask? Cos I bought it on bluray a few weeks ago and now im going to have to wait ages to watch it. Ghah.

Just watched the first four episodes of the Australian Ghosts. It feels much closer in tone to the original than the American Ghosts and some of the gags had me laughing out loud, so that's a winner in my book! For the record, I adore the American Ghosts too, they are all great. Yay, Ghosts.
Recording tonight, and when the episode comes out I may share my notes for the first two episodes, cos they are a fucking roller coaster.
These RT photo shoot pictures of Michael and Anneka have given me life for the last 45+ years. I adore them. 😍 (They are also a huge part in why i love Cybermen so much)
Very sad about Bill Oddie. A staple of my childhood. Fairly sure he and David Bellamy inspired my love of nature and those creatures we consider 'common place' and tend to get overlooked. I also can't get that Alan Partridge gag out of my head.
