Here's a thought for a potential consititutional amendment --- Each self-governing territory of the United States shall be entitled to representation in the House of Representatives as if it was a State. --- This would let them have at least 1 voting representative but in congress but not a senator.
Man, now I know why my 3rd floor walk up didnt have an elevator. Oh and as an emt, if someone was boarded, we could stand them up in the elevator or as long as they could sit up, the streacher breaks down to almost the same length as a wheelchair user with the feet out.

The Trump admin's excuse for sinking boats is a poor recycling of the plot from Tom Clancys Clear and Present Danger. But even then, they directly shot down planes entering the US or hit the processing centers on the ground. And the people they are emulating are the bad guys!
