Color sketch commission of sureimiku's oc Siri with Estinien from ffxiv.
Estinien is a mermaid, and all scenes are kind of inspired by the movie "The little mermaid".
On the first scene, Estinien helps out an almost drowned Siri, they both rest agains a rock on a deserted beach, Siri unconcious on Esti's arms.
On the second scene, they are both underwater, Estinien's holding Siri's hands and lifting up their chin, staring intently into his eyes. Siri is mesmerized (and holding their breath)
On the last scene, they are both having a romantic night in a tiny boat. Estinien is now human, and they are both blushing and smiling at eachother while holding hands. Flower petals falling from above, into the water, being lit by the shiny moon.

was talking about it on stream but I feel like a lot of discourse about media literacy these days could be avoided if people were more willing to be like, a good ending version of ulysses ogre. Like admitting to yourself you just don't get something but being cool with it
