Counterargument from someone that isn't insane: we are in our 40s and have paid off our home. Not only are we happy to pay our property taxes, I have personally voted for every single tax increase on myself because I am actually able to understand 2nd, 3rd, etc order effects of funding society.

So I got caught up in this. I got time so let's go through the problems with this whole event. 1) This appears to have been a suspension wave via LLM, either the list being created by an LLM and a person suspending the accounts or the LLM doing the suspending itself. Either way, same bad result.

We have temporarily suspended the compromised accounts and are working with their owners to secure them and restore access.
Ayyyy, we're back. Everything looks normal on my account. I am very curious what the "suspicious patterns" were that got my account suspended in the first place. If there's anything I learned from Parks & Rec it's how to *not* be suspicious.

As both a certified CAR GUY and an economist-ish, I cannot imagine a headline more designed to drive me, personally, insane. This "flying car" technology is neither new nor novel. It is not practical and would not sell. Let me tell a story of actually useful car tech that never made it to market.
