The only *guaranteed* piece of craft advice I can give -- I mean the advice that is universally applicable -- is that if you kill many other writers and eat their scribere gland (roughly the size of a black-eyed pea, so be careful not to damage it) then your prose will improve immensely

People, I have had pneumonia for THREE MONTHS. Today is the first day since contracting it that I’ve been able to breathe properly. I’m so excited that I’m going to finally get back to writing that Queen sequel. BUNNIES!

Update! Fence Neighbor has strapped a sign to her yard tree that says DO NOT TOUCH with a bunch of fine print I’m not going to get close enough to read. I’m still confused as to why she thinks anyone cares about her tree.

Hectic schedule so no time for long winded stories BUT tldr: Fence Neighbor filed a complaint because we cut down a tree that shaded her home and that she loved. Tree was on our property Tree was failing. Neighbor is convinced we are going to now cut down the tree in her front yard
