As somebody in the wine business, there's a reason they let you brew beer and ferment wine at home and don't let you distill liquor. Someone's house will burn to the ground from attempting this. This is one example of where I think the government needs to protect people from themselves.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Supreme Court agrees to review Reconstruction-era ban on distilling spirits in private homes.

The estranged parents' movement reminds me of incels in a lot of ways. People who can't look themselves in the mirror attempting to leverage the state to force the rest of society to placate their ills, coupled with the perception of a massive group of people as property of another.

Another one. The premise: Young people are cutting off their parents for minor mistakes and misunderstandings. The lead anecdote: A woman severs ties with her family for refusing to get vaccinated before her wedding — to a man who *lost his mother and brother to COVID*

Meta took down the No Kings organizing page today - the biggest day of protest this fall. They provided zero explanation. It stayed down for the entire afternoon until most of the protests were done. Outrageous. Put this on the January investigation list.

Amour Moment #2 - Summer Camp Redux At one point during Sycamore's camp arc, Ash and Serena fell down a cliff and they have a momentous talk with each other following what Serena's purpose in life would be. Cute moment that would help find what Serena's purpose in life would be to come. #anipoke
