The Brazilian, Nigerian, and Indian communities came together in Surrey to celebrate the 4th Taste of Surrey event with the Rotary Club of Surrey.

Today marks one year since a joyful celebration of Filipino culture ended in devastating violence that still resonates in our hearts today. We remember the 11 lives lost, honour their memory and hold close the families, friends, survivors and community forever changed.

It was great celebrating 5th Annual Vaisakhi Jorh Mela with the Khalsa Schools of BC. I had a wonderful time celebrating music, food and culture with the community.

I had the pleasure of touring McKesson Canada's state of the art pharmaceutical distribution centre in Surrey (Campbell Heights)! McKesson’s pharmaceutical distribution centre in Surrey is the largest hub for delivering medications and pharmacy supplies across BC.

Surrey's communities are safer today because of the work of Surrey Police and their partners. Over four months, a BC-funded SITE operation in resulted in 136 arrests, 54 weapons seized, and 55 charges recommended — targeting the repeat offenders who cause the most harm.
