I second New Masters. Shof was my best bud back in art school and I'm hyped that he's started making comics after working most of his career in animation. This and Bronze Faces, both made with his brother Shobo, are quite excellent.

I read NEW MASTERS by @shobocoker.bsky.social, @cokercoop.bsky.social. A gorgeous and interesting afro-futurist story about the struggle for resources and control of history, and those caught in the middle of it all.

Flash #34 was nothing short of incredible. I have completely fallen in love with how @gavinguidry.bsky.social draws Wally and @ryannorth.ca continues to bring his A game with crazy ideas and fun characterization. This is one of the best books DC is publishing right now (and that’s saying A LOT)

Every once in a while I beg certain comic book artists out there to please consider drawing their characters' mouths open more often when they are speaking/emoting. Indy, artsy and mainstream. Your endlessly tight-lipped bad actors are dead on the page, killing dialogue and snuffing emotion.
