The road to fascism was paved with "Reddit atheist" and "shrill feminist" and "blue hair and pronouns". The vanguard wasn't the rabid reactionaries. It was the "normals", "apoliticals", who tolerate occasional sexist comments but mock the "cringe" of well-meaning and earnest but awkward people.

Tomorrow I have a meeting at work about me not doing "enough," despite having already met 1100% of my annual target in just four months and I'm not slowing down. ("If you can get an A+ why can't you get an A++?") And an abusive piece of shit who broke a 2-year old's collarbone is winning elections.
