I finally know why people love Fable. The v1 of a project was built using GLM 5.2 and Kimi K2.7 and it kinda worked but I wasn't happy with the solution at all. I pointed Fable at the project, told it what my issues were and now I have a much simpler and cleaner v2 with actual useful features.

No thank you. That would shatter my fragile ego into a million pieces. Either because I can't handle getting blocked or because I can't handle being so insignificant that nobody bothers to block me.

The comments under the Greenpeace anti-datacenter post are absolutely crazy. Even if you wanted, you couldn't argue with those people. There is just too much hate. Hate for hates sake. It's exactly the same energy you see when racists complain about foreigners or car people about cyclists.

Much of my career boils down to: All code is liability. Minimize it. Feedback loops are everywhere. Speed them up; do them more. We're bad at predicting the future. Avoid it. More tests. Hire smart, motivated people, then get out of their way. Find the right thing to turn off and on again.

Just read overreacted.io/a-social-fil... by @danabra.mov, and I finally understand what ATProto is. Very cool stuff, would definitely recommend reading. Unfortunately this is going to add significantly to my list of ongoing side projects and things to learn more about.

Did that with a friend's phone that had so much lint accumulated that it wouldn't charge anymore. Now it's working and you can even dangle it by the charging cable without disconnecting. Very satisfying. Very recommended
