Despite major concerns about its lack of accuracy on the battlefield and the very serious risks to its operational security in wartime should units employing it be overrun by the enemy, the Davy Crockett and 400 W54 warheads were deployed in Guam, Okinawa, South Korea, and West Germany from 1961-71.
