tbh dunno if i've got it in me to finish these last 2 revenges... i want to, but it's been a wacky past week or two and i'm feeling less psyched to finish them and more constrained (like: "i can't do any other art, i should work on these! even though i have no ideas for what i want to do for them")
The no. 1 most awful and true rule of art, is you gotta make bad art to make good art. And even when you're "technically" skilled, sometimes you'll still make "bad" art. (bad simply meaning you were not able to achieve technically what you wished to)
with artfight almost over (i got 2 revenges I still wanna try and fit in 😰) i've been doing a bunch of planning for picking my comic back up... once i've got that rolling again, i think i want to finally fix up my patreon and post things more. maybe share sketches/early draft pages?
message for new artists, old ones, literally anyone trying to figure out life: it's cool and good actually to try stuff even if you know you'll be bad at it. it's not cringe, it's cool as hell, and it's quite literally VERY GOOD for you. the only way to get experienced is to start inexperienced
