I've run north of 500 sessions across a dozen different systems over the last decade. I've drawn maps, used art I found online, painted minis, built terrain, and created playlists. It did not once occur to me to outsource any of this to the Shitty Plagiarism Machine. Skill issue, you useless fuck.

"I'm entitled to whatever I want whenever I want it for any reason and I don't care what satisfying these urges does to me or the world" well okay dude, seems like there's something deeper going on here, but that's just my take

I love how scalpers act like they own pokemon cards now. like "this isn't a kid's game anymore" like yes it is. it's still a kids game that used to be easily accessible to kids until you ruined it. it's not and never was for you to hoard.

Very much this Ive always stood that there is rules layering (I.e trying to manipulate the rules to be a weapon against others) and being a rules attorney (helping everyone with your knowledge either by filling in gaps in knowledge or a siting others as a beneficial tool)

By the way? There's a radical difference between rules lawyering within a bad faith context, and interpreting rules in your own advantage when in a place where everyone establishes respect for each other. Exploiting rules can actually be very fun for you and your opponent if the vibes are good.

One thing that I feel doesn't get discussed enough: there are as many ways to make TTRPGs as there are ways to play and enjoy them. Whenever someone tries to tell you the "one true way" to build a TTRPG, please ignore them... they are wrong.

You cannot "sincerely" ask why a policy like the NYC grocery store with food 30% cheaper is good. No one with an ounce of common sense or decency can really be so astronomically dense that they can't immediately see it as extremely good. So you only ask that for attention of the shitty kind.

Date: What do you do? Me: I'm a kleptozoologist Date: Isn't it cryptozoologist? Me, stuffing my pockets with lobsters from the tank: that's a common misconception

With Stoneshall finally released, I might try to do a bit of reviewing again before moving on to my next heavy development solo project. It's probably not happening until Monday. I'm taking a few days to decompress. But if you have a ttrpg you'd like reviewed please feel free to leave a reply.
