Love has never needed permission from labels 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 My emptiness of gender lets me see that clearly. Anxiety tightens around transgender lives right now. Why must their chosen bonds still pass through someone else’s gate? Why is the soul they claim treated as a request instead of a right?
Read the article and while I don’t necessarily agree with the conclusion, I do think it’s an interesting perspective to have, particularly for the insight into how expanding a passion into employment can impact your engagement with it (for better or worse). In rape culture, everything a woman says means yes and nothing she says means no. This seems to assert that though she said not to come over, said no repeatedly, struggled against Platner, an ambiguous prior comment constituted irrevocable consent. Not a shocking breach not to include it.

One thing I don’t think men understand is that rape and assault are so ubiquitous—and so perpetually immune from consequence or recognition—that many women learn to talk about these incidents as of they’re mere inconveniences. We are not allowed to treat them with more gravity.

2 for me - 1) the Irish whip needs to disappear for a while, it’s become a weird, immersion-breaking move akin to a running handshake; 2) the Deathriders story has been pretty decent the entire time.

Mine is that Warhorse was unfairly maligned as a gimmick wrestler by people less than familiar with his body of work, and that shitty match with Cody was all the proof they needed. His IWTV title run was actually great, but next to no one watched that.
