I am still reeling from the judge saying "notwithstanding Freeman's status as an attorney herself, she would do her utmost to avoid or evade compliance with any court order that she did not like." What a thing to have said about you in the court record.
It took us a good while to deduce that transmission was not fomitic but airborne, then to confirm with science, and then adjust policy. Then took time to learn outside was safe, but we did. People mad about public health authorities “allowing” BLM protests, for example, have poor grasp of timeline.

This just isn’t true. The establishment basically split down the middle. Clinton arguably won the popular vote. Tied at the least. The campaign was hard fought, at times ugly, but doesn’t stand out as vicious. Stop inventing history to support simplistic narratives in the present.

What I heard was, "you can only get a PA if it does these three things" and what she meant was "tell me these three things so you can get a PA."

I rivet the word "absolutely" onto the little apologies that chatbots do when they misunderstand a prompt.
Sick of these degenerates’ constant flat out lying about Democratic governance whereas the depravity of Republican governance actually eludes effectual description.

I wonder if this can/will happen with timber land. Which where I’m from is a massive proportion of the land that’s not in crop cultivation or, like, hunting preserves. Idk how profitable it is but takes decades to get to harvest. Maybe take the income instead of replanting?

BUT, its owners also won't sell the land to someone who does want to farm! So they lease it to a solar farm.

Look I’ll probably never stop suspecting that the novel coronavirus came from the shabby novel coronavirus lab located in the city where the outbreak happened in a shady authoritarian country where you can assume officials would attempt a cover up of a cataclysmic lab leak.
Stephen Nuñez@socio-steve.bsky.social · 7d agoI still don't understand the purpose of this conspiracy theory exactly. Why would everyone be trying to cover up that the virus (which was clearly not bioengineered) was loosed through a lab leak as opposed to spread in wet markets?
District commissioner vote comes down to a) indie who seems to possess superior quality of leadership for local affairs and b) DSA Democrat ideologically superior but whose mama once threatened to call the cops on me in a fashion I considered ungentlewomanly. Vote blue no matter who probably.
