ICE causes man to wreck while his children are in the car, then tries to pry his kids from his arms. They got the wrong guy. Toward the end of the video, an ICE officer says law requires the person recording to back up 25 feet and threatens with pepper spray. (There is no 25-foot law.)

-That "area" was not "restricted" to Lander, he had a US passport (+ is presumably not an Israeli citizen.) -What authorization should a person need in order to help people harvest their own olives with their consent, mmm? -Injured by whom? Settler terrorists acting with impunity + IDF protection?

Israel’s Foreign Ministry attacking Brad Lander - a self-described liberal Zionist - by name, simply for doing protective presence, should be the final sign that the Israeli government would gladly sacrifice every last Jew in Diaspora to dominate more Palestinians with impunity.

“This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.

Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.

Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.

What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.

At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.

Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.

Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.”

This is exactly what vouchers are designed to do. Never forget- scratch a book banner, find a legislator who's working with the anti-public education dark money crowd. Bc it's hard to sell: I don't believe poor ppl deserve an education. But it's easy to sell: public schools are grooming your kids.

Public school enrollment was declining in West Virginia even before its voucher program was established. But things have only gotten worse. Since 2019, 70 public schools have closed in the state, and up to 20 more schools are in jeopardy. w/ @mtnstspotlight.bsky.social

For context, it took 3 years following the end of the Great Recession for SNAP rolls to decline by 7.8%. This is unprecedented. States are trying to reduce error rates (or face billions in penalties due to the One BiG Beautiful Bill) and eligible folks are losing access in the process.

The number of people enrolled for federal food assistance has decreased by 13% since Republicans overhauled the program last July, to what one analysis says is the lowest number since 2009.

Democracies letting platforms carry on as imperial powers is the same thing as surrendering to infinite permanent gerrymandering and election interference and just telling people to vote harder every time to keep up.

Are people on the left the only ones not allowed to probe & gauge where candidates are at while power & status quo are offered that privilege infinitely? The people most likely to be harmed by continuance of this crap just have to hope as candidates are making verbal promises to sell us out daily?

Everyone talks about ‘purity tests’ with the left but what the fuck are endless questions about made up stuff like border security & protecting girls in sports & do you support more police & do you denounce Hasan & do you condemn Hamas are these not purity tests? They are definitely Fealty Tests.

Also can we stop with the “non White” It’s a Black colleague . It’s very specifically a Black colleague and that is DEEPLY important they want to activate specific social tropes Because when it’s a different person they will be activating different tropes
