Tour de France Femmes >>>> Love to watch a race where the outcome isn't a foregone conclusion. What a ride by Haugset.

Oh thank god, Peacock has the world feed for the Tour de France Femmes.
Just noticed that this year’s Ironman 70.3 Coeur d’Alene and Boise medals fit together. I feel like I just unlocked some unofficial Potato Challenge. Pretty cool detail.
instead we are publishing the first ever edition of TADEJ IN SPORTS!
Tadej in Sports! The cycling GOAT?
We're finally celebrating the Tour de France, which Tadej Pogačar effectively ended two weeks ago. PLUS, Mayo ends its Gaelic football famine, discussing the LeBron Jawns ... and more!

Race report coming later this week, but in the meantime, here are a few photos from Ironman 70.3 Boise (more like 69.1—the swim was canceled at the last minute due to the high winds at Lucky Peak Reservoir).
Oh, it's gonna be bad bad. I've never seen Ironman send out one of these. (It is 102ºF/39ºC right now.)
I'm supposed to race Ironman 70.3 Boise on Saturday and the AQI is… less than ideal. Not sure if I should pull the plug now (my hotel is refundable until midnight tonight) or take my chances and hope the air quality improves before race day. Bleh.
At one of the longest-running Ironman races, two new names delivered the standout performances, with a near-perfect Ironman debut from Paula Findlay and a dominant course-record victory from Marten Van Riel. bit.ly/4wWtFgC
🎶 It’s been a long day, without you, my friend. And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again. 🎶
Pretty good day for SPORTS, with Tour de France stage 15 on one screen and Ironman Lake Placid on the other. And World Cup final later!

It began with an idea during an early World Cup game, and ended with me studying nearly 750 players. Breaking down all the pre-game player emotes from the group stage, what they mean, and which teams are most fun/boring: www.espn.com/soccer/story...
What's in an emote? Analyzing 747 gestures during the World Cup group stage
For years, soccer lineups were just static lists of names, but the 2026 World Cup has given us two-to-three-second videos in which players can make a gesture or emote. The group stage had 747 player gestures; let's break them all down.

Peacock's coverage of the Tour de France sucks so bad. You're right, dudes, I don't want to watch the actual race, I want to watch you play with your stupid 3D table for thirty minutes followed by another commercial break.
