Before it was either divided or they were waiting to see if Stevens or McMorrow would drop out. AES is suffering as he has to face the entire MI Dem party united and he doesn't have the ability or skill to do so
this is why you really can't be meeting centrists halfway on anything- defund, Palestine, M4A none of it. when they get the world they want they only fight harder to keep it.

In reality, the city has never adequately funded harm reduction programs and continues to rely on incarceration to address homelessness. What Powell wants is what we're doing.
Politics aside, do people believe bloodless quants are a good POLICY idea? What do they accomplish, in your view? What problem do they solve? Why do they keep running for election? I'm sincerely curious in people's answers here.
I’ll say straight up, as someone who used to be different kinds of economically and socially right wing, and was very into delusional right-wing economic theory to override my absence of real world experience, neoliberal economics has a massive body count.
It’s wild that we just accept that farmers should get massive subsidies but intervention anywhere else in that same value chain seems revolutionary.
hilarious to nakedly tank for 5 years and basically brag about not trying to win baseball games because of how big your brain and how smart your wallet is, all to put together a young core whose window turned out to be one year where they won 101 and got swept out of the postseason in 3 games

Honestly, for the best. This might sound really weird, but I think if Nixon, and how on some level he was a Decent Dude™*, but his demons sooo got the better of him, and he became the WORST. Sorry, Katie, I did see what was good about you, but your Demons made you low key the worst.

I recommend caution around people who have 'always been against' platner but still want you to 'vote blue no matter who' if he won't drop out.
it's helpful to remember that every tea partier considers themselves anti establishment. so the term doesn't do much for description on its own

Not over the disaster of a candidacy, but by calling it early, and taking some crap for that but sticking to it. All it took was believing that Nazi stuff is actually bad, and that saying "the establishment" with a sneer doesn't counteract that.
Remembering when I went viral for posting this and the Today Show and Fox News both covered it. Peak Twitter was a fever dream.
