Argh. Someone has apparently done AI audiobook versions of the entire Starship's Mage series and put them on YT. No, I didn't have anything better to do with the next hour than enter individual reports for each of them, why do you ask Youtube?

This is a cute picture of Thomas, but what I want you to look at is the orange comforter. See? It's very orange. We THINK it's from JCPenney's originally, but we don't know for sure. Most importantly, it's old and well-loved, and dying. I need to find a new one, same comforter, to replace. Help?

A freshly shaved blue tabby is curled into an orb, a copy of THROUGH GATES OF GARNET AND GOLD resting against him. But what I want you to look at is the orange bedspread. See? Ooooo, so orange.

Well, my keyboard is still occasionally double-typing and just added a 7 to the middle of the current word count on the book. Yeah, I'd love to go from 16,000 words to 177,000 words in one sprint too, spreadsheet, but that doesn't happen. Sadly.

I don't get tired of this particular question, maybe bc it's fun to casually say, "Oh, about eighty of them." :) They often mean "are you famous enough that I'd have heard of you?" which I also don't mind, even if the answer is always no. Them: Are you famous? Me: Only more than most people. :)

What’s one question you’re tired of answering as a writer? If I have a book published. Not because someone wants to actually read it, but more so they can classify me as a “real” writer…or not #writingq #WritingCommunity

Hm. Boat people help! In movies, video games, etc, we often see yachts holding parties and even small business conferences. Searching for info on yachts I either come up with smaller boats with a single stateroom or epic super yachts. What keywords am I missing to find what I'm after?

INTO THE DROWNING DEEP by Mira Grant is only $2 in US eBook format today! That's less than half the cost of a cup of decent coffee for hours and hours of meticulous marine biology research leading you to the horrors of the deep!

Weird tech issue. My keyboard was having a number of stuck keys so I cleaned it out, but it kept doubling up characters. Replaced it. Now, with an entirely new keyboard, I am still getting duplicate keystrokes - almost always "a" I think. Hard to search this one up. Ideas?

before withdrawing support or arguing for it, know that UK libel laws mean if you have enough money, you can sue someone into bankruptcy amnesty likely had to calculate how many people would die if they fought this versus how many would die if they didn’t either way sux for refugees & trans people

Amnesty have issued an apology to JK Rowling and the rest. Adjust your expectations, and donations, accordingly www.amnesty.org.uk/latest/an-ap...

"Guys, I saw the first GenAI marketer and book club scams back when they were new enough and targeted enough some of them almost fooled me. I'm one of the test targets for the guys who sold you the template. Do better, seriously." (I've received the full range, sigh. Including unfilled madlibs)

If you're going to send me a spam email, at least fill in the blanks: Would you be open to having [Book Title] considered for an upcoming NBRC challenge?

Assuming great grandparents (as none of my grands were born in 1926) I believe I am looking at professional landlords and other wealthy-but-not-RICH-rich on at least 3/4 sides. (One great grandmother managed to lose a LOT of wealth after her husband's death. Not sure my grandma ever forgave it)

Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?

Glad you enjoyed it! My goal with the Untitled History Podcast is to try and drag people (including myself) out of our historical comfort zones. I hope that people will go: "Okay, OTHER episodes are good so i will trust the pod and listen to this one." And then discover a new fascinating thing.

I’m not a gamer, this normally wouldn’t fall into my interests. However, this is fascinating and the way you and your guest (too lazy to look up) tell the story is a great pleasure. The pirate episode falls into the same category. We can blame R.L. Stevenson for the vision I had.
