Lloyd Robertson has died. Born in 1934 in Stratford, he was one of Canada's most celebrated journalists. He was the anchor of CTV's national nightly news from 1984 to 2011. He was also one of the longest-serving news anchors on English-language North American television. 📸 CTV

Whether they are MAGA, separatists, Vatniks, or Likud Zionists, they did not start out that way in life. At the core of their grievances, there is a buried and legitimate fear or concern. Someone recognized those fears, cultivated them, manipulated them, and turned fearful people into monsters.
