This is a must read! The SBC abuse story is still alive and well. It seems very little has changed and the SBC has moved on leaving victims behind. We need to stand up and support the victims and help protect potential future victims. This article is about much more than Paul Pressler.
This is a *terrific* piece which drives home two key points: People with special needs often have special skills, so hiring them isn't some noble sacrifice you're making but a savvy investment. Accommodations for people with special needs almost always wind up benefiting everyone else too.

Congressional Republicans gave Trump a slush fund for ICE and CBP in the "Big Beautiful Bill." Tens of billions of dollars that is still usable even during a shutdown. Democrats must make rescinding that money the price of any future govt funding, as Republicans did with IRS money from the IRA.
