In addition to having no experience in immigration, their website shows Ilya Shapiro (!) and disgraced former law prof Joshua Wright (!) as Senior Counsel. I don't think this massive contract was awarded to give immigrant children effective, zealous advocacy. burkegroup.law/our-team/

Ok trying to figure out, on a whim, why whenever I'm at the gym there's always someone with a locker right next to me, even when it is otherwise not crowded. At least 3 candidate explanations: psychology, ergonomics, and statistics. Micro-thread:

Just learned that the DOT is scheming to fuck over consumers by letting airlines make it harder to see real prices. Thankfully the comment period was extended. Go make it very clear to those corrupt fuckers that we won't tolerate a conspiracy to lie to us. www.federalregister.gov/documents/20...

The immigrant union troops who defended their adopted country from slaver traitors are in fact, proof of concept of American higher ideals having nothing to do with “blood” or “heritage” or whatever cowardly euphemism is in vogue among these pathetic losers

While I'm bitching about things. Every rental car these days seems to have some horrible feature called "lane assist" that drags the steering wheel around against your will when, eg, you're driving down a winding rural road. (If I'm ever renting a car it's probably because im going somewhere rural)
