Is there a word for the annoying moment when there's a ping on TV that is the exact same sound as the first ping of your doorbell and you go to get up and then you realise it's not your doorbell and it is in fact something on TV?
Hoped to get to see Spider-Man today but all of the screenings are pretty much full and I'm not keen on sitting in the front couple of rows. Maybe later in the week.

Filmmaker Chuck Russell has passed away at 74. Chuck Russell directed The Blob & Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors in the 1980s, and later directed The Mask, Eraser, Bless the Child, The Scorpion King, and Witchboard (2025). A horror legacy that will never be forgotten.
If you haven't seen it, the David van Day-starring 80s horror anthology Screamtime is really good. His segment is the worst like, of course. #TOTP
