@nmarantz.bsky.social (UCI), Carolina Reid (UCB) and I have a new working paper on how the built environment influences school segregation. Looking at attendance boundary shifts over an 8-year period, we find that schools that draw students from more single-family homes grow Whiter/more Asian.
