Another Tuesday another #MTGCube draft. I've got to figure out how to stop drafting Blue/White. Would need people to stop giving me 9th pick Restoration Angel for that though - second Resto I've wheeled this week.

Got 7 last night for a powered vintage cube. List was supposedly based off the mtgo one, but there were a few inclusions that I wasn't sure lined up with that. I was supposed to wheel a Thopter Foundry in pack 3, but it didn't come back :( #MTGCube

Got to get in two #MTGCube drafts this afternoon. I think it was a copy of cubecobra.com/c/LSVRetro ? 2-1 UB - Inkwell/Blightsteel flipped based on the matchup. 3-0 UBw - Swapped Lumbering Falls for an Island to bump the fetchable count. - Dack over Leovold against a WRB deck with Retrofitter.

More #MTGCube decks from my peasant cube. We had 6 last night. I started out UB, but got a 10th pick Everything Pizza and couldn't resist. Went 3-0, even getting to Pizza twice in a game thanks to Eternal Witness. Talrand's into Victor Timely is a helluva curve too.

Got a pod of 7 tonight for The Ham Sandwich, my peasant #MTGCube. Prior to the draft I made a few tentative Marvel swaps so we could test those out. I went 2-0 with 5c Eusocial. The other 2-0 was GB Spider Spawning. Reminder that this cube is in the @cubecon.org voting group ending 6/10 @ 10am ET

Had a pod of 7 for The Kuleshov Cube over the weekend at Hacks SummerSlam. Attached are a couple well-performing decks from the draft. Kuleshov will be in this Friday's CubeCon voting block. I might have enough time to pour over the 578 Marvel spoilers, I did see a few fitting cards. #MTGCube

After Salt Box I began logging draft results so I can get a numerical sense of how different cards/themes/colors are behaving in my #MTGCube s. Only have 9 drafts, 61 decks tagged for Kuleshov, but it's starting to look a bit useful - like keying in on Dredger's Insight having the most event draws?

Decks that contain the color.

W/L/D shown in Games.
+W% represents the percentage of decks with positive records.Poor Dredger's Insight having the most event draws.Game wins/losses for decks that include a color vs other decks that include a color.

Still figuring out how to make this type of information useful, but I think ideally I'd want to try and spot archetype matchups that are too lopsided so I can reign those in a bit. I'm a little concerned the draft might have a slight rock/paper/scissors nature to it where certain archetypes prey on others too aggressively.

Tagging archetypes is proving to be a giant pain though because I need few enough to make it useful with such low data volume, but distinct enough to be able to accurately reflect the deck.
