Abstract Comics. Absolute Collider Press.

I watched that Katie Price documentary last week, and apart from any thoughts about Katie/Jordan herself... SOLRAD exists on a simple, slightly stubborn belief: comics deserve the same serious critical attention as any other art form. We're a nonprofit magazine published by @fieldmouse.press -- reviews, essays, interviews, original comics. And we pay our contributors. 🧵

Got a DM on LinkedIn from the Department For Work and Pensions, went a little light-headed. Turns out it was just an ad for Jobcentre Plus, but it was a very similar sensation to checking the speedometer when you've driven past a police car.

Am reading this at the moment. Haven't got to 'Down Below', Carrington's autobiography yet, and think that will be quite a lot. But the short stories that precede it, truly surreal, hilarious and disturbing, are worth reading and re-reading.
