Oh no all of this New Gods talk has me wanting to do a re-read. Is it time to pull THESE babies out of storage??
Here's hoping a walk around the hill in like 87% humidity will solve all my problems and definitely not make them worse
Electric Six cover of 'Radio Ga Ga' just came on which I didn't even realise was on my computer. Not too interesting without the video really but some fun vocal choices in it #news
Seeing that list from the guy saying Nolan films are better than Kubrick films (it is not a competition) is making me realise how many films Nolan's made, and how the only ones I've enjoyed have been the Batman ones
this is a great mindset but also a hilarious drag on hong kong phooey, a multiaxial gimbal of racism

absurdly stressed out by simple letting agent stuff regarding getting a bit of wallpaper fixed. Rather have the bit of wallpaper hanging down a bit than have to do stuff like have someone in my flat, maybe move my cupboard etc. All of which makes me seem quite mad but I'm on Medication for a reason
Illustrating @rossignol.bsky.social's article about @cavesofqud.com for 7th issue of @wyrdscience.bsky.social is one of my favourite work from 2025. I am never tired of reposting stuff commissioned by Wyrd Science magazine.
watch this and tell me your laughing out loud breaking point. Mine was Huey Lewis
I absolutely remember yelling at this commercial at 2am in my 20's, challenging its definition of "punk". youtu.be/dJoo7Tgjr8U?...
hate when this dweeb shows up (the one on the left), which is a shame as I normally like big eyeball characters
tonight I watched a fairly dreadful film and drew a fairly terrible picture. Tomorrow will be different in that I might watch a good film
boycotting EA's going to be pretty simple for me, given all I'm interested in from them currently is the ps4 version of Burnout Paradise, which I sometimes consider buying so I don't have to plug my xbox 360 in

been listening to The Magnetic Fields for 4 hours so I'm feeling wry
Fascism wants us to be cut off from one another. The first thing Trump did in his first term was to attack the postal service. Brexit was about isolation and making it harder to know our neighbours and live well.
No small business can do this. No small business can afford this. This was no longer a choice, or an option. The latest PPWR is the final nail in the coffin. Here you can see a breakdown of the unreasonable bureaucracy expected of us. We'll miss you, Europe.
something quite fitting that I'll look up help for the game 'Dread Delusion', and most of the results lead here:
DID YOU KNOW: it's still far, far too warm. Also humid. Wish I was capable of things like 'moving house', would love to go somewhere colder than stupid warm Scotland
my unfunny pitch for a new Jaws Film is that I'd just try and make it a good film about shark attacks at a beach. I crave good sea peril films and will NOT joke about it

Finished the Marshal Law re-read. Pretty unenthused by the end but luckily Kevin O'Neill art remains Top Fun, and I liked that the TPB finishes with a self-aggrandising Mills afterword. Be a letdown if it didn't!!! Shame about the poor Jonathon Ross intro though, and also Mills namedropping him
Had a go on the Street Fighter. New character is fun to play as, good set of 'normal' moves, they feel correct to me. No 'World Tour' mode for her though so her alternate outfit looks to be a ball-ache to unlock.
A lot of people today talking about an awful person who died but i want to make everyone aware of a good person who died: Northern Irish comedian Jimmy Cricket, who you should all look up if you don’t know. 10/10 all around wife guy, dad, granddad, and just a generally solid person
email from letting agent after the flat inspection 10 days ago, apparently I need to clean the light swtiches and door handles. I noticed I'd forgotten to clean one light switch but figured it wouldn't matter as who the fuck cares about a bit of dust on a light switch
