Okay, I gotta ask y'all a question. Are you familiar with the concept of the "coming-out station"? Like, at a Pride event, where you can hop up on a platform, grab a megaphone, and declare your gayness to the supportive crowd, as a way to empower oneself?
Boosting this. I encourage y'all to share it. Duckduckgo offered this feature because they knew there were a lot of people who don't want anything to do with AI, but right now it seems like it's nothing but some pretty words. Spread the word, and hold them to account on their promise!

I was looking for ref pics for sheep, using the no AI search, and the SECOND RESULT is an AI image. Scroll further down, and one image even SAYS IN THE TITLE that it's AI generated.
IMPORTANT: For any artists/writers/etc etc, using Linktree to point people to their work, from 5 July, they'll be feeding all imagery you use on your landing page into DALL-E by OpenAI. I deleted my account this morning.

I feel a mix of guilt and frustration whenever I say anything here about being at the end of my rope, because I can tell that pretty much everyone is. I feel guilty adding to the tumult, and frustrated that that means I won't be heard... But I have to tell someone, even if it is just the void.

Straight up, these are damning admissions and absolutely preposterous reasons to be posting fake job ads. This is infuriating past the point of reasonable understanding. I want to hurt something because of this, that’s how angry it makes me.
