Learning Greek. In today lesson, we did telling the time. I had to say “8 minutes past 2” in Greek. So, I laboriously said οκτώ λεπτά μετά τις δύο. The (Cretan) teacher explains you didn’t need to be so precise - just say 10 past 2. I love this place - they don’t sweat the small stuff.

One obvious yet rarely spoken point about the FIFA fiasco is that much more money should be put into development of the game in Africa - a continent full of football-crazy people with no access to decent facilities.

Ceuta is on the African mainland. It’s over 50km from Gibraltar. Unless these Moroccans are long distance swimmers, their only way of getting there is by boat. Sure the Spanish are up to stopping that 🙄
