Everyone in "The Boroughs" is fantastic, but Alfre Woodard and Clarke Peters play off each other so well. They bring a little extra to every scene they share.

Since people love "Widow's Bay" (as they should), maybe more people will finally watch the Perry Mason reboot with Matthew Rhys and Stephen Root! It didn't get a ton of attention, but I liked it. (I also love original Perry Mason, though the two shows are really nothing alike except in name).

Widow's Bay on Apple TV is so good! But I'm afraid to love it because I also enjoyed fellow oddball Apple shows The Big Door Prize and Sunny, and those both got canceled. Watch Widow's Bay, people! Please, for my sake! It's excellent.

Social Media in 2035

I just watched "Remarkably Bright Creatures," which was as satisfyingly emotional as you'd want from a Sally Field movie, but I was more delighted by 1. Colm Meaney! and 2. Alfred Molina, the funniest typecasting ever. Oh and 3, it was a movie, not stretched into 6 episodes for no reason.

I strongly suspect this is true of every field. There is what people think they know about it, and then there is what the daily experience of it for those who are in it. There is a wide gulf, and every one of those jobs is harder than it looks from the outside.
