Today in things I didn't realize I desperately wanted/needed
Happy Friday! I've been building towards an "Atmosphere OS", where my atproto account is the identity layer on a real phone. I wrote a little bit about it here:
Useful stuff
intriguing tool to analyze which accounts you most often like posts from! it also gives suggestions for accounts you might want to follow based on posts you've liked from them if you don't already follow that person https://labs.tngl.io/orbit
Mum is nuts about these squirrels in the backyard, she adores them
Today I read about network security practices. I can barely remember anything in particular that I read, but that's okay because it's all in Anki now. I will remember it eventually.
Nobody ever taught me how to prioritize. They just told me my priorities were wrong, over and over again, until I learned to be ready to ignore whatever felt important to me at a moment's notice to instead do what a real or imagined external source tells me to.
Haha, had a lot of people say they liked this better than the comic it came with.
I genuinely believe that people don't appreciate just how much of all the bad vibes right now are still largely a COVID hangover. It was a profoundly traumatizing event for American society, on the order of the civil war or the great depression and we've largely decided to just pretend

Today I used the box technique to draw the best chair I've ever drawn and I'm mad about it
newer computers are less effective boat anchors than older ones laptops are basically useless

Today I channeled Loki for flexibility. My offering is to be telling people terrible jokes, also maybe burning a piece of beef later to keep with tradition. "He's not picky" , except I am highly skeptical. He's gonna want something really over the top next time I know it.
So, I wrote a thing about writing a thing. Beware, may contain trace amounts of madness.
The Most Important Post - Thinking Half Done
In trying to write for my substack, I have a significant problem: Some part of me refuses to write anything than the absolute most important thing that could...

I have decided. Fuck trying to find a leftbrain frame for magical thinking, I'm gonna become a witch. No more distantly appreciating the aesthetic; time to cast spells. It's dumb to believe in the psychological power of ritual and not be making regular use of it to adjust my own psychology.
Hey @sealight.xyz Do you have the lexicon doc for the annotations type posted anywhere I could stare at it a bit?
